Starving cancer: Dominic D'Agostino at TEDxTampaBay

Dr. Dominic D’Agostino is an associate professor at the University of South Florida in Tampa. In his position with the university as an associate professor of molecular pharmacology and physiology at the Morsani College of Medicine, he engages in a wide range of metabolic-based therapy activities. These activities include ketone research in areas of ketone supplementation, ketone ester experimentation, and emerging ketone technologies.

Dr. Dominic D’Agostino also provides lecture services and engages in further research through his role with KetoNutrition. His research goals involve addressing a variety of physical ailments and conditions, from cancer to various motor neuron diseases resulting in loss of muscle movement.

As of 2014, Dr. Dominic D'Agostino's professional activities at the University of South Florida have overlapped with his role as visiting research scientist at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC). He also supports a number of relevant non-profit groups and organizations, including Winning the Fight Against Neurodegenerative Diseases (WFND).

Dr. D’Agostino studied neuroscience and physiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He also holds a bachelor of science in biological sciences and nutritional sciences from Rutgers University.
